Talking about health problems

Husband : What's the matter?

Wife: I feel bad. I have a terrible toothache.

Husband: you should visit a dentist.

Teacher : What's wrong?

Student : I have a fever.

Teacher: I think you should take some medicine such as Doliprane.

Vocabulary : there are some health problems :

 Headache  : a continuous pain in the head

Stomachache :

a pain in a person's stomach or belly.

Earache : a burning pain in one or both ears

Backache : a pain of the back caused by the strain of a muscle or ligament

Sore throat : a pain in throat caused by cold or other virus.

The flu : influenza

Fever : an abnormally high body temperature

Sore eyes : the inflammation of the front of the eye.

Health advices :

  • Have a balanced diet
  • Exercise regularly
  • Avoid some bad habits like smoking and drinking alcohol
  • Have regular medical checkups
  • Take some rest

 A dermatologist is a medical doctor who specializes in conditions that affect the skin, hair, and nails.

A cardiologist is a physician who's an expert in the care of your heart and blood vessels.

 A psychoanalyst a person who practises psychoanalysis.explore and analyze  thoughts, emotions, and behaviors

 An ophthalmologist is an eye care specialist.  

A gastroenterologist is a medical doctor who specializes in conditions affecting the digestive system
 
A dentist a doctor who is qualified to treat diseases that affect the teeth.
